Ross Dallow (Australia) training and preparing out of Tiger Muay Thai and MMA training camp, Phuket, Thailand wins his fight on ESPN’s / Star Sports Martial Combat MMA event in Singapore with a submission. Ross fought two-times winning both while training at Tiger Muay Thai and MMA. His latest win a 1st round submission win in China.

Promoting the martial Combat show in July, Tiger Muay Thai and MMA head MMA instructor and / fighter and World Muay Thai Champion Claire Haigh were interviewed on the popular morning TV show “Good morning Singapore” as part of the public relations events leading up to Claire and Ray both winning their fights on ESPN’s successful martial Combat MMA event held two-days each month featuring 10 fights including 2 Championship superfights. Elbe beat India’s leading MMA fighter with a first round submission from strikes taking home the Superfight Championship belt. Haigh, bruised from the fight, which can be seen on the video, won by 2nd round referee stoppage as she unleashed a furious ground and pound beating on her opponent.

Buddhist Monk blesses new Mongkon for Tiger Muay Thai & MMA Training Camp, Joined in this ceremony was TMT trainers Ajarn Mac and Kru Nazee along with TMT fighter Danny Baci whom was being blessed for his upcoming fight that night. In Muay Thai, Mongkol refers to a circlet that boxers wear on their fore head which they believe Mongkol will safe them and keep them free from danger. In the past, Mongkol was used as a formal outfit that boxers have to wear at all time during the fight, and never take it off until the fight is finished. However, at present time Mongkol is only some kind of amulets rather than the formal outfit and boxers do not have to wear Mongkol throughout the fight. They just wear Mongkol just before the fight, during Wai Kru Ram Muay ritual dance and take it off when fight begins. The tradition of wearing Mongkol in Muay Thai was from the ancient times when soldiers use holy frontlet wear on their forehead before go to the battle.
