UFC Middleweight Contender and former Strikeforce Middleweight Champion Jake Shields recently gave a Seminar at Tiger Muay Thai. The seminar focused on the style of grappling that Shields calls “American Jiu Jitsu”. A huge number of guests attended the seminar which took place in Tiger’s newly built MMA room.

The workouts are over and the fighters have been through a grueling two days, but it’s now time for the coaches to make their decisions. Who will make it onto the Tiger Muay Thai MMA Fight Team?

Thirteen fighter’s from around the world were invited to Phuket, Thailand to compete in the tryouts and become a member of Tiger Muay Thai’s 2013 Pro MMA Fight Team.
Day 2 of the trial had the fighters demonstrating their BJJ skills, through intense drills and sparring. Plus a high intensity beach workout.
Head MMA Coach Brian Ebersole had a special surprise for their final workout that tested how hard they were willing to push themselves to become one of Tiger’s MMA Team.
