Chantal performs Ram Muay Wai Kru @ King’s Cup 2008
It all starts with the Ram Muay Wai kru. Chantal was given a huge applause for her traditional Ram Muay Wai Kru, the traditional dance done by Muay Thai fighters before they fight to show respect to their instructor, training camp, King, and country. Women must show respect for the sport by enetering the ring under the bottom rope, while men are traditional and go over the top rope. Even today, women are not allowed to fight at famous Lumpinee Stadium.
She was given a standing ovation at end of her Wai Kru and respected comments by the main commentator. Chantal takes her time and does a proper Wai Kru using time to get used to the footing on canvas and stretch out muscles from the 6+ hour wait before her fight for http://www.tigermuaythai.com
