Chantal (Tiger Muay Thai) wins WPMF World Muay Thai Championship @ King’s Cup, Bangkok, Thailand
Chantal, fighting for Tiger Muay Thai Training Camp, Phuket, Thailand was all heart and no quit. Fighting ranked and experienced opponent Karlee from Australia, Chantal listened well to her trainers and dominated the 4th and 5th rounds (most important) showing determination, clean technique, and skill with step back knee strikes and strong clinch. Considered one of the best fights of the night for the King’s Cup which was represented by fighters from nearly 20 countries in respect for the King of Thailand’s birthday.
Chantal really turns on the momentum in the last two rounds scoring with knees to the head and chest of her opponent. Chantal showed the heart of a true champion. Congratulations to both fighters.
