Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Training Camp, Phuket, Thailand welcomes Japanese MMA fighter Kotetsu Boku. Buko with impressive wins against Hermes Franca, Alexandre Franca Noggueira, Yutaka Ueda Boku is a legend in Japan for MMA.

Representing the famous Krazy Bee fight team in Japan he fought Joachim Hansen in DREAM losing a decision.
In his last bout, the former Shooto champion fought Tony Hervey to capture the World KOTC LW Championship. Boku will be at the gym for the next month improving his Muay Thai.

former Shooto Japan Champion Kotetsu Boku works recovery drill. During this drill the fighter is spun around their body while rotating off one foot. this drill is done 3 times. 15, 20, and 25 spins are the reps. Immediately following the twirling of the fighter, partner should throw slow, controlled punches giving the “punch drunk” fighter a chance to work recovery skills.

If they slip to the wrong side, or duck under the wrong punch, continue repeating it until they have it correct. Once the fighter is no longer dizzy, the next round is ready to start. Boku a star fighter from the Krazy Bee gym in Japan, is spending a month at Tiger Muay Thai training in the MMA program under Magical Ray Elbe, and working his Muay Thai with one of the 20 Lumpinee-Rajadamnern champions currently instructing at Tiger Muay Thai.

Krazy Bee Japan star fighter Kotetsu Boku spends a month training at the Tiger Muay Thai training facility in Phuket Thailand.

Boku, training privates in Muay Thai, spent time working on his MMA with Magical Ray Elbe. Here Boku participates in an exercise designed to improve reaction time. Both fighters keep their hands locked behind their back. Competing against one another, they attempt to lightly step on top of the others foot.

Three rounds; 10,15,20 are conducted during this drill. The losing fighter has to do 10 sprawls. Each fighter counts their successful foot stomps out loud.

Cyrus Washington training/fighting out of Tiger Muay Thai & MMA Training Camp, Phuket, Thailand, is preparing for his rematch fight with Australian Fighter Chris Grainer on March 12, 2010.

Cyrus lost a very close fight to Chris at the Kings Cup in December of 2009. Here Cyrus is training with one of TMT best and head trainer Kru Yod. Lets just say that Kru Yod has taken Cyrus to a much higher level in his Muay Thai game.

Heavy Bag punching drill for beginners to advanced fighters. This simple heavy bag drill is much more then just a workout, its drilled for muscle memory, this drill teaches your body to turn your hips over fluently while turning your fist over upon striking the bag and always keeping you on your toes.

This drill was filmed in the beginners training section of Tiger Muay Thai & MMA Training Camp, Phuket, Thailand. Here at TMT we drill this twice a day (Morning & Afternoon session) at the end of each class. Practice make perfect!

12 year old Dakota Underwood (Alaska) is currently training at Tiger Muay Thai & MMA Training Camp, Phuket, Thailand, looking to sharpen her Muay Thai skills.
