Japan Shooto Champion Kotetsu Boku Punch Drunk in Thailand
former Shooto Japan Champion Kotetsu Boku works recovery drill. During this drill the fighter is spun around their body while rotating off one foot. this drill is done 3 times. 15, 20, and 25 spins are the reps. Immediately following the twirling of the fighter, partner should throw slow, controlled punches giving the “punch drunk” fighter a chance to work recovery skills.
If they slip to the wrong side, or duck under the wrong punch, continue repeating it until they have it correct. Once the fighter is no longer dizzy, the next round is ready to start. Boku a star fighter from the Krazy Bee gym in Japan, is spending a month at Tiger Muay Thai training in the MMA program under Magical Ray Elbe, and working his Muay Thai with one of the 20 Lumpinee-Rajadamnern champions currently instructing at Tiger Muay Thai.
