Veronika loses first fight in Thailand against experienced Nam Wan.
Veronika returned to ring after 2 weeks training after a 1+ month layoff and was supposed to fight local fighter Ploychampoo, but the promoter changed the fight and Veronika ended up facing Rawai’s #1 Women’s Thai fighter both taller and bigger than Veronika.
Veronika took the fight knowing her opponent was very good, but Nam Wan was too big, strong, and experienced and won over 5-rounds. Good exciting fight, But Veronika was over-matched by promoter and should have been fighting someone in her weight class and near her experience level. Good fight.
