Wat Dtai Buddhist Temple Festival, Chalong, Thailand December 2-8, 2008
Every year, the temples on Phuket Island play host to a series of temple fairs and festivals where the Thai and foreign tourists gather to browse the temple grounds, go shopping for just about anything at tents full of items from clothing to cd, dvds, jewelery, toys, and of course a wide variety of games and Thai food, Check out this short video from http://www.tigermuaythai.com on this years festival.Phuket has several large Buddhist temples which hold festivals at different times of the year, the biggest being the Wat Chalong Buddhist Temple Festival where Thai people come from all over Thailand to pay homage and respect and enjoy the week long festivities.
